Betty M. Fowl, age 88 of Cohasset, MN died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Autumn Lane Assisted Residing along with her household at her aspect.  

Born September 19, 1933 in Remer, Minnesota, she was the oldest baby of Esther (Peabody) and Herbert Seiffert.  She grew up in Remer and graduated from Remer Excessive Faculty.  She then attended Minneapolis Enterprise Faculty. Following the completion of her education, Betty moved to Grand Rapids, MN.  Whereas she was babysitting for a household, she met Birney Fowl who would change into her husband on June 21, 1952.  Collectively, they raised a household of six kids.  

Betty was proud to be the secretary to the Itasca County Lawyer.  She additionally labored within the Itasca County Engineer’s workplace.  She later went to work as a authorized secretary for a personal regulation agency in Grand Rapids and retired within the late Nineteen Nineties.    

Betty will be remembered as woman with a really deep love of the Lord and was all the time energetic in her church.   Listening to music, Christian music and the old style Nation music had been her favorites.  She loved serving to others – by doing earnings taxes every year, helping growing old folks, or simply having fun with a go to with a shut in.  In her youthful days, she loved fishing and searching with Birney together with the annual trek to Montana to hunt mule deer.   Betty bowled on a Girls League and really beloved to play playing cards and board video games.  She loved cooking and baking and really would select candy treats and desserts as her favourite a part of any meal!  Above all, Betty really loved being a grandmother.  She had made positive every grandchild acquired a birthday and Christmas card together with a bundle of Trident gum – her signature reward!

Betty is preceded in demise by her husband, Birney Fowl in 1998; their son, Brian Fowl in 2007; her mother and father, Esther Seiffert and Herbert Seiffert; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Krussow.   

She shall be deeply missed by her kids, Betty (Scott) Jeffers, Lee (Bonnie) Fowl, Pleasure (Ken) Whitted, Jesse (Daybreak) Fowl, and Jerry (Karen) Fowl; 16 grandchildren; 32 nice grandchildren; 6 nice nice grandchildren; step-mother, Libby Seiffert; her siblings, Wayne (Shirley) Seiffert, Darlene Krussow, and Paul (Kay) Seiffert; and nieces and nephews.  

A funeral service shall be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Group Bible Chapel, Cohasset with visitation starting at 1:00 PM.  Interment will happen at Fairview Cemetery in Remer, Minnesota.
