Dear all,

I am taking the drastic and unfortunate step of taking the forum off-line.

I have only got limited time to do stuff, and – to my mind – editing together the podcast [although, again, due to time constraints and dodgy software, even that didn’t happen this week] and trawling myspace is a far more productive way for me to spend my time, in regards to the new music show, than deleting spam and spam accounts from this forum.

And, of course, it’s not been the busiest of forums in the past few months. After an initial burst of activity, my loss of a broadband connection for the three weeks after I moved house crippled the whole thing.

I haven’t got the time to try and resurrect it, and all the while my inbox fills with forum-related spam; so, I’m shutting it down. I wouldn’t want the spammers to find a way into the server through phpBB’s open source code.

So, if you have gig info, tunes, or music-related info, then please make yourself known to me via my myspace page:

I’ll plug your gigs to death, I will. But I’m not spending another wasted minute deleting spam accounts from this forum’s memberlist.
